Recreat Kate's makeup on Night of Heroes military awards event (19 Dec. 2011)

Kate's makeup on Night of Heroes military awards event (19 Dec. 2011)

I believe kate's makeup was done by a professional makeup artist. if not then she did a great job. I absolutely love this makeup. even more than her wedding makeup. her makeup was totally different than her everyday/occasion makeup.

Eyebrows: her eyebrows felt in with pencil/eye shadow/gel. color similar to her hair colour.(Brow Set in Mink, Eye Brow Pencils in Lingering and Spiked will do but it really depends on your hair colour)

Eyes:
i can definitely see some individual fake lashes in the outer corner of her eyes. She used 2 to 3 layers of black mascara on upper and lower lashes.
i totally recommend the Smokey lash from MakeupForever. she tight-line and waterline her eyes with black (or very dark brown eye pencil eg. toffee from YSL) any black eye pencil will do. she is wearing black shadow (carbon from MAC) as a thick eyeliner and a bit winged out at the end and blended towards her crease. and make a eyeliner with black eyeshadows over the blended shadow. blended eyeshadow at the crease with a very natural beige matt eyeshadow (recommend cork, soft brown, bamboo, texture or tete-a-tant from MAC)
under her lower lashes used a black shadow blended very softly.

Cheeks:
she went for a pinkish/peachy (which is more pink than peachy) tone blusher this time. i recommend something like Melba from MAC or PECHE 553 from Dior.

Lips:
Her lip was matching her blush. she had a rosy peach brown lipstick something like Biarrtiz from coco shine Chanel (no.42).

In general i loved her makeup on that day it was stunning.

MAC Semi Precious review and swatches

Hi everyone,
Saturday 9th July was the release date of the Semi Precious in Holland.
I was so exited to check them all and swatch them and feel the texture of the eyeshadows and MSF's.
Honestly im not a huge fan of the MAC mineralize eyeshadows from my previous experiences. but this time i was really amazed by the pigmentation and quality of the eyeshadows. The variety of colours were amazing.
Each eyeshadow cost 20 Euro (kinda in Pricy side) but the size of the eyeshadows were twice bigger than the normal eyeshadows by mac.
I just got the MSF in " Semi Precious Goldstone". I am happy with quality and the colour!!
I really wanted to get some eyeshadows but honestly i have enough similar colour in my Makeup kit so i had to skip that. but if you want to get the eyeshadows and you want to complete your collection i highly recommend.
Anyways i did some swatches indoor and outdoor of Goldstone MSF. hope you like them.

Tips: you can use "semi precious goldstone" inner section as a highlighter and outer section as a blush or bronzer. or you mixed them together and use it as a blush/bronzer.
You can definitely use it as a eyeshadow too.
such as inner section as a highlighter for inner corner of the eye or on the brow bone. or mix outer and inner section together and apply it on the eye lid!!

Hope you liked it.

Its a jewelry brand which they make Charms, bracelets, watches, necklaces and also awesome perfumes and candles. you have a choice of at least 100 of beautiful charms to hang them on your bracelet, watch or necklace. They are not as pricey as Pandora but they are kinda affordable and super cute.(http://shop.thomassabo.com/NL-en/charm-club)

I had eye on Thomas Sabo bracelets for almost a year, month ago finally i got them. They are gorgeous and adorable. im super happy with it.
Anyways i got mine from Thomas Sabo shop in Den Haag. (http://shop.thomassabo.com/NL-en/shops)
The woman at the counter was really kind and nice, she was patiently helping me with giving me charms to try them on.
