Read on for the full breakdown of the look!
Kate's makeup artist Molly Stern focused on radiant skin, bold eyes and high-gloss lips.
“Kate’s Roberto Cavalli dress was so ethereal and magical, I wanted to keep the skin looking completely luminous and create a bit of edge with the eyes. The combination of Hourglass’ Veil Mineral Primer and Illusion Tinted Moisturizer is utterly gorgeous. The foundation is sheer, blendable and buildable but still leaves skin looking translucent. I used Film Noir Lash Lacquer to give Kate’s lashes drama, depth and dimension. It’s everything you want in a red-carpet look.”
Skin:
Molly began by moisturizing Kate’s skin with Natura Bisse’s The Cure Cream. She then primed with Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer which creates a flawless canvas for makeup, followed by a light application of Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer in Sand. Molly loved the sheer finish of the foundation which allowed the British beauty’s gorgeous skin to shine through.
Cheeks:
She used the bronze tone in Hourglass Illume Crème-to Powder Bronzer Duo in Sunset to add warmth to her skin, and followed with the blush tone applied on the apples of her cheeks. She then dusted Nars Miss Liberty high on her cheekbone to add an extra glow.
Eyes:
Molly used the bronze shade of Hourglass Visionaire Eye Shadow Duo in Gypsy as a base, and set it with Nars Galapagos Eye Shadow, smudged deep into the lid. For an extra pop of light, she dabbed Chanel’s Blazing Gold Ombré Essential over the inner lid. Her lashes are deep and jet-black due to Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara, followed by Hourglass Film Noir Lash Lacquer which was painted over them for an extra kick of drama.
Lips:
Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Crème lipstick in Fresco was used as a base on Kate’s lips, followed by Hourglass Extreme Sheen Lip Gloss in Imagine for a glistening sheen.
Hair:
To achieve a base of texture and manageability, Renato applied a blend of the Fekkai COIFF™ Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel and the Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream throughout the hair, followed with a rough blow dry. Next, Renato used a 1 ½ inch curling iron to create loose curls, letting the curls set for 10 minutes so they fell, creating little bit of a wave. Next he separated the hair into three sections, two low pig-tails and a ponytail in the middle. All three pieces were secured with clear hair ties. Renato finished by weaving the three pieces into a high bun. He secured the look with Fekkai COIFF™ Sheer Hold Hairspray

Evan Rachel Wood's Makeup at Golden Globe 2012.
At the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards last night, makeup artist Toby Fleischman used NARS Cosmetics to create the gorgeous gilded eyes and mauve lip on Evan Rachel Wood. She looks stunning.. even though i wasn't that much fan of her dress but i couldn't ignore, amazing makeup and hair on her.
this makeup was one of my fav. makeup from last night GGA.
“Paramaribo Duo Eyeshadow was the exact gilded gold and bronze we wanted to create a soft metallic eye that would pick up the accent of the feathers. Then we used Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara on the lashes to finish the eye (ok maybe more than one coat!).”
“To keep the rest of the face feminine, the new NARS Gaiety Blush was amazing for a sheer flush of pink on the cheek along with a swipe of good-old standby NARS Angelika Blush to add a bit of shimmer.”
“NARS Sex Machine Velvet Matte Lip Pencil topped off with Como Larger Than Life Lip Gloss gave Evan a soft mauve pink lip to complete the look.”
you can find Nars cosmatic at: www.narscosmetics.com.

Recreat Kate's makeup on premier of "war horse" (08.01.2012)
I don"t think her makeup was done by a professional makeup artist tonight. today she went for really bright lip and blusher. First i had doubt about the colour of her lipstick and blush because of different pictures with different lighting. But after searching i was convinced that the colour she went for today was medium Fuchsia with a bit tint of pink/red into it.
So lets begin.
Eyebrows:
To be honest i didn't like her eyebrows today. it wasn't as neat as i would expected but it was acceptable.
Eyes:
She used a light/semi dark matt brown eyeshadow all over the lid and blended towards crease. (mac: Cork, Wedge.. its really depend on your skin colour. what skin colour you have a bit darker. and use light brown which has warmer tone in it). further she had balck eyeliner which it wasn't too thick and wasn't too thin. This time, she didn't tight line her eyes. she left her waterline natural. under her lower lashes used a black shadow blended softly. she didn't go crazy with her eyelashes, she had mascara, but very natural looking (one coat of black/brown mascara for natural looking).
Cheeks:
Medium Fuchsia/pink/red colour blush which matches her lips. i recommend (Mac Full Fuchsia, Azalea, Virgin Isle. chanel Tweed Fuchsia..).
Again it is really depends on your skin colour that how these blushes are going to show up on your skin.
Lips:
I didn't see her before with that bright lipstick. I really liked the colour. It really suits her. the lipstick was medium fuchsia with red tone in it. ( i recommend drugstore brand such as Marcelle Rouge Xpression in Cleopatra, Mac pro Full fuchsia,...). Of course you can be as light handed on applying as you want.
I loved her lip colour, suits her so much. it gives pop of colour in her head to toe look.
